Hi babes! We recently finished our backyard space (deck, landscaping, fireplace – the works!) and with the warm weather arriving and home projects being a priority for so many these days, I thought it would be a good time to share our outdoor area for any of you who are searching for inspiration.
This entire setup has been a prooocess with lots of delays – contractor, materials, furniture, you name it! It was definitely a labor of love this past year, but it was worth the wait and we’re excited to be able to enjoy the space this season.
Our last house faced southwest so we had afternoon sun alllll day, which made for hot nights in the backyard, so when looking for a new house we knew we wanted something facing west to get more morning sun and evening shade. We also knew from the start of the build process that we’d be limited on space but still wanted to create a focal point for entertaining outside. We’ve already spent countless nights out here with family for happy hours, movie nights, sports games, etc., and are looking forward to making lots of new memories in this space!
