Hi babes! We celebrated our little’s 2nd birthday last weekend and I still can’t believe we have a two year old! This birthday felt like a bigger milestone than her last (maybe more for me than for her). When she turned one I felt like I still had so much time with her as a baby but now she’s such a big girl and you can see her growing every day in new ways. I love it but also want to soak-up her littleness just a while longer 🙂
We I love celebrating birthdays 🙂 and there’s something about toddler birthdays… they’re over the moon excited about the simplest and most standard birthday-things (balloons, cake, etc.) I loved seeing her experience that this year and was happy we were able to celebrate her, even if it looked a little different than normal. We opted to do a small gathering with family only to keep our circle small, and it was perfect.
I’m sharing some snaps below of her ‘party animal’ themed birthday and I’ll link-up any available details for those interested.
I hope this gives you some inspiration for your kiddos’ birthdays, and I’m thinking about all of you who’re trying to get creative around how to celebrate this year (thanks, covid!)

This is just perfect ❤️
The cake is so cute! Where did you find the present cake topper?

The present came w/ one of the toppers (can’t rem if it was the giraffe or elephant), but if you go to that Etsy shop she has a separate listing for miniature presents.
