Hi babes! I thought I would keep the content light around here but also relevant for the times… if there’s anything I need more of right now it’s cocktails 🙂 We normally keep it pretty simple at home with beer and wine, or premade bevys (Cayman Jack, White Claw, etc.), but these days I’m looking for ways to make our at-home happy hours a little more exciting. When the weather starts to turn warm and Cinco (which also happens to be on Taco Tuesday this year) is in sight, I crave a good marg. This one is light and refreshing using fresh juices and no sour mix. I also added a little jalapeno to spice it up but if you’re wanting something milder you can leave off the slices on top.
My handheld citrus juicer is from a local grocer but I’m linking up a similar one here… if you don’t have one of these, get one! It is quick and easy to use and makes juicing for a cocktail or recipe such a cinch! My bar tool set is old (wedding gift) from Crate & Barrel but they have a similar one here that comes in a few different finishes. We got these rocks glasses a couple years ago and they’re great quality and versatile for entertaining. Lastly, the cutting board is actually a pastry prep board, the reverse side is smooth for chopping, and the smaller serving board on top was a Marshall’s find, but I found a similar budget-friendly option here.
Here’s the recipe, hope you enjoy! Let me know if you make your own 🙂
