Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Hi babes! Mother’s Day is a little over two weeks away so I wanted to share some last minute gift ideas that would be great for any lady in your life… mom, wife, aunt, grandma, sister, etc. I tried to include something for everyone from home to beauty to travel, and more! I also tried to include retailers that offer quick, reliable shipping (hello, Amazon Prime!) so you can get it before Sunday.

This list is a combination of tried-and-true favorites and other things I’ve been eyeing! I’m linking everything below, but read on for why these things made my list this year.

1.
Ember Temperature Controlled Mug | 2. Slip Silk Pillowcase | 3. Nordstrom Lingerie Moonlight Pajamas | 4. Cuyana Leather Travel Cases | 5. Capri Blue Volcano Candle | 6. Staub Dutch Oven | 7. Made by Mary Vertical Bar Necklace | 8. Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Perfume

These pajamas are AH-mazing! I bought a pair during the Anniversary Sale last summer and planned to pack them in my hospital bag for when Viv was born. The material is crazy soft, and I was so pleased to find that they have considerable stretch so they worked for me during and after pregnancy (which isn’t true for most clothes!) That being said, this would be a great gift option for anyone in your life who’s expecting! For anyone who isn’t accommodating the bump, they do run a bit big so you could size down one size and still be comfortable.

Another favorite of mine are these travel cases. They come as a set and I actually use them to store my makeup all the time, not just for travel, and I’m super impressed by the quality of the leather. They have several different colors and can be personalized with your initials which is always a sweet touch when gifting.

The last couple things I’ve used and loved are this perfume and this candle… gimme all the smell goods, please! I’m not a big perfume wearer, but I really love the Jo Malone products. They’re light and fresh and don’t feel overpowering. I’m also a sucker for pretty packaging! The bottle is a beautiful addition to any vanity tray, and as far as gifting goes, their signature bag and ribbon are (almost) too pretty to open! If you’re not into perfume, they also offer candles, diffusers, body creme, etc! Lastly, this candle in the Volcano scent is my all time favorite. If you know, you know 🙂

Now onto some of the things I’ve been eyeing! I’ve never seen anything like this mug, it’s temperature controlled and can be remotely adjusted to your ideal temperature. If you’re a mom, you know your coffee is always lukewarm and there’s finally a solution.

I’ve also heard a lot of people raving about this silk pillowcase. It’s supposed to be anti-aging, anti-sleep crease, and anti-bed head… as if that wasn’t enough it’s endorsed by cool chicks like Cindy Crawford and Jen Atkin, so uhm hi! Where do I sign up!?

Next up is this dutch oven… I have a Le Creuset that I use all the time for chilis, soups, etc., which I’d also recommend, but mine is red and I’m really loving the neutral color on this one. It’s also bigger than the one I have which is great for a crowd.

Last but not least is this vertical bar necklace. If you haven’t checked out this brand, they have such pretty jewelry at a great price point for gifting and a lot of it can be personalized. I thought this one would be cute to have engraved with a child’s name, and they sell single bars that you can add to it if you have multiple kiddos. Another piece I’m loving from them is this disc necklace. I gave my girlfriend one when her son was born with his name, but you could also put ‘Mom’ or ‘Aunt’ or ‘Grandma’.

I hope this gives you some gift options or at least provides some inspiration for Mother’s Day! I’ll leave you with a picture of me and the little peanut who made me a mama!

This will be my first Mother’s Day as a mom so it’s extra special for me this year.  We don’t have plans (yet), but we typically do a brunch of lunch to celebrate and I’m looking forward to spending the day with Vivian and family. How to you honor the special women in your life on this day?
